About

Building at the intersection of law, digital visibility and career development.

I'm Gladys Ogo, known as The Keen-Eyed Proofreader — a law graduate and legal proofreader. I've worked across legal, career and digital spaces, with legal brands, career organisations and communities, while building a growing presence among law students and young professionals.

Through my work in legal proofreading, content, speaking, consultations, brand collaborations and the Premium Law Students Community (PLSC), I create conversations and practical spaces around professional visibility, career direction, opportunities and the changing legal profession. My work looks beyond the degree, to the skills, presence and opportunities needed to navigate what comes next.

You can take your academics seriously and still build your professional presence. They were never in competition.

  • Miss Ogo is an excellent proofreader and an even better teacher. I took her three-day proofreading course and I got more value than anticipated. She’s an expert at what she does and as efficient as they come.

  • I was looking for someone who will proofread my work on “The Principles of Becoming a Good Advocate as a Law Student”. Bearing in mind that this was the first time such book will be published specifically on mooting or student’s moot court practice, I wanted something unique and spectacular. I had to reach out to Gladys Amarachi, who I know to be a “keened eye proofreader”. She proofread the work and even when I compared, it was wonderful! Looking forward to more collaborations with you.

  • Her name is Ogo Gladys Amarachi. She is the best at what she does. When I came across the flyer with the bold, “Masterclass of Proofreading (2.0)”. I registered immediately, because I know one thing, she is no empty vessel with loud noise.

Did I regret? Naah, I didn’t. I got more than my money’s worth. My vessel runneth over with knowledge from a bigger vessel. I had to mentally expand the vessel to avoid wastage. I learned, unlearned and relearned. A new perspective about a proofreader’s responsibility, the importance of selecting a niche in the field and effective ways to interact with authors — you won’t believe it if I told you I had to role play. What impressed me the most was her concise delivery and the manner in which she instills knowledge. Her mannerism and passion demonstrated that pursuing a craft like proofreading can lead to both personal satisfaction and tangible opportunities.

  • Ogo Gladys Amarachi is an exceptional Proofreader. She is someone that knows what she is doing. I recommend her because she indeed touched my life. She was a great teacher to me, where I learnt a lot about proofreading and its intricacies. She taught me how to proofread, how to up my skills with getting online courses, how to charge, how to relate with clients, and many more. She poured value into me. I am forever grateful.

After I started applying what I was taught, I got my first international client within a week after her classes. I highly recommend her. She is the best.
